Flat steel refers to steel products with a width ranging from 12mm to 300mm, a thickness of 3mm to 60mm, and a rectangular cross-section with slightly rounded edges. It can be finished steel products, or used as billets for welded pipes and thin slabs for tandem rolling. Main applications: As finished steel products, flat steel can be used to make hoop irons, tools, and mechanical parts. In construction, it is used as structural components for building frames and staircases.
The product specifications are unique. With thickness ranging from 8 to 50mm, width from 150 to 625mm, and length from 5 to 15m, the product specifications are closely spaced, meeting the needs of users. It can be used as a substitute for medium plates and can be directly welded without cutting.

The smoothness of the product surface. The process includes a second high-pressure water descaling step to ensure the steel surface is smooth and clean.

The two sides are vertical with clear edges. The second pass of vertical rolling in the finishing process ensures good verticality of the two sides, clear edges, and good surface quality of the edges.

The product boasts precise dimensions, with a three-point deviation and a grade deviation superior to steel plate standards. The product is flat and has a good plate shape. The finishing mill adopts continuous rolling technology with automatic loop control, ensuring no steel stacking or pulling. The product exhibits high dimensional accuracy, and parameters such as tolerance range, three-point deviation, same strip deviation, and camber are superior to those of medium plates, with good plate straightness. Cold shearing ensures high precision in length sizing.

The product material adheres to national standards and is equivalent to steel plates. The quality and technical standards are based on the YB/T4212-2010 standard for production (Q345B/Q235B refer to GB/T1591-94 and GB/T700-06 standards respectively).

The flat steel is rolled with a negative deviation, but delivered based on actual weight, resulting in a utilization rate 1 to 5 percentage points higher than that of steel plates.
